A magnificent, solidly built explorer in the finest Dutch shipbuilding tradition, from its second owner and repeatedly refitted, suitable for both warm and cold coastal waters.
Built by the renowned Vitters shipyard to a proven design with a history of serious (trans-Atlantic) voyages, this rugged vessel is equipped with every conceivable comfort, but above all fitted out, maintained and refitted to be a safe pleasure yacht. Virtually all systems are redundant; the Eekels on-board management system is as used in maritime shipping – practical, clear and accessible remotely – and, last but not least, features a refined finish with an eye for detail. A vessel for connoisseurs.
The current owners have owned the yacht since 2006 and have spent approximately €2.5 million over the past 20 years on ongoing maintenance and improvements, including three refits. The yacht is very well documented (Customs declaration, CE documentation, Builders’ certificate, CBB certificate valid untill 30-12-2032 , stability report, noise report, vibration report)
The yacht is also equipped with, amongst other things, a highly professional, well-organised and easily accessible engine room, a spacious storage compartment in the stern, a backup hydropack powered by a generator, an AB Rib 12 ALX with a 30 hp four-stroke Yamaha engine (both 2021), CE-A certification is possible (ask the estate agents), the main engine has an A-rating (continuous operation at full power), the hull and superstructure were painted in 2021, separate gangway, windscreen demisting and heating, high-quality PTZ camera (pan-tilt-zoom), SMS alerts from the on-board management system, all kitchen appliances are from 2022 (Miele), Siemens thermostat, professional searchlight from De Haan Rotterdam, Furuno loudhailer, Zeeanker, Fortress aluminium spare anchor with lead line, spare parts, emergency hydropack, emergency steering system, fire hydrants fore and aft, bilges painted in 2021, 200A alternator on main engine, Home-built vessel with its own propeller shaft and folding propeller driven by a 40 hp Yanmar 3JH4E engine capable of reaching 5.2 knots in calm conditions, fuel polishing system, UV lamp for drinking water, workbench in the lazarette, air conditioning (2 chillers and 3 fan coils), soft starts on air conditioning units and halyard winches for the foremast and boomsludge/sump oil drainage system, fire extinguishers inspected, Crew-Finder RT 202, bilge cooling and dry exhaust. At 6 knots, the range is appr. 6.050 litres : 17 litres = 356 × 6 = appr. 2.130 Nm, escape route from owner’s cabin via engine room or via front entrance, forward cabin usable as crew cabin with its own entrance and dinette, dimmable lighting in cabins en wheelhouse, 5 watertight compartments, manhole covers on all tanks.
