These Barkas ships are characterized by their sturdy hull combined with good sailing characteristics for various sailing areas. The open cockpit, combined with the single-level saloon, provides a comfortable living space. The cockpit is fully covered with a removable canopy, allowing the vessel to be fully used even in poorer weather conditions. This Barkas 11.50 is equipped with both an inside and outside steering position. The bow thruster can also be operated from both positions. A sturdy stainless steel railing all around provides a safe walk on deck. The varnished wooden mast on the foredeck can be lowered manually, creating a minimum clearance height of approximately 2.40 m. The four saloon doors can be easily opened individually. Immediately upon entering, on the port side, is the galley, a true live-in kitchen. On the starboard side is the refrigerator, followed by the U-shaped dinette with a moveable table. Several windows in the saloon can be opened for fresh air. From the steering position, there is a good view all around the vessel. In the front cabin of the ship is the owner's cabin with a double French bed. The bathroom is centrally accessible and features an electric toilet and a separate shower cabin. A double guest bed is located amidships. The saloon floor provides access to a Candy washing machine and various technical components. All floor hatches in the open cockpit are hinged for access to the technique and main engine. Thanks to the onboard generator, it is possible to stay self-sufficiently at a mooring for several days. Additional options for this ship include: two 100W solar panels on the saloon roof, an anchor locker with storage options for lines/fenders, a rudder angle indicator at the inside helm station, a Mastervolt battery monitor, and additional storage space under the bed in the forward cabin. The current asking price of €125,000 is based on the existing paint system (hull/superstructure). Repainting of the hull and superstructure is planned; after completion of this work, the asking price will be adjusted to €145,000.
